Analytics for warehouse conveyor management
Using Digifort analytics for detecting stopped and fallen packages in a warehouse.
This video shows packages moving along a roller conveyor in a warehouse with stationary packages in the background. Digifort's analytics recognises the packages, calling them 'box', whether they are moving or not. A fallen package is detected on the floor and at the same time two stopped packages are detected on the roller conveyor. An alert is raised for the stopped packages (when the analytics box turns from yellow to red) and the duration of the stoppage is timed. To do this, Digifort analytics must recognise different shapes and sizes of package; whether they are moving or not; and where they are in the scene (as some stopped packages in the scene are acceptable).
Many more of our VMS and analytics applications are aimed at improved site management or business growth than they are at site security.
